When you step into the Common Ground Summit, you also step into a vibrant, layered community of changemakers, visionaries, and regenerators. And if you are here, you likely fall into one of those categories, too.
We want to take this opportunity to tell you more about your hosts at this year’s Common Ground Summit, as orienting ourselves in community is part and parcel of orienting ourselves in place.
Meet: Common Ground, the Place
Common Ground is is a regenerative hospitality company located on the North Shore of Kauai. The 60-acre campus is steeped in rich history with a regenerative agroforest, event spaces, forthcoming restaurant (launching late 2026), support systems for local businesses, and co-working and production facilities.
Common Ground is a space for shared experience, shared learning and deep human connection. Our goal is to augment regenerative practices and provide immersive experiences to build a regenerative community where people find common ground through food as great connector.
For us, place is a mindset that considers the culture, community, environment and future generations in everything we do. We strive to immerse visitors in the true essence of a place that they could never know so deeply, creating experiences that reflect its beauty, complexity and history and leave them with a sense of reverence.
Visiting Common Ground means becoming part of a community of people committed to learning about and immersing in place together, wherever in the world this place might be.
Meet: Common Ground Ensemble, the Community
Common Ground Ensemble is Common Ground's community and movement, a platform for deep human connection and cooperation. Ensemble seeks to foster reciprocal and transformational relationships, accelerate and augment human talent, and give voice to unique stories and perspectives. We celebrate the individual while acknowledging that real systemic change can only come from the collective.
Common Ground Ensemble is a curated network of talented people who care, along with the infrastructure needed to make things happen. It is rooted in the yearning for connection to the essentials of existence: Connecting to other humans from all different backgrounds and cultures—with their food, traditions, heritage and wisdom, their relation to nature—and to the next generation.
Common Ground and Common Ground Ensemble belong together, parts of a regenerative whole. Ensemble is Common Ground’s community; the Summit is the annual gathering of this community.
Outside of the Summit, Ensemble gathers community during the year in small dinners around the country, always rooting in the simple but powerful connection of bringing incredible people to the table to share incredible food.
