Are You A Regenerative Leader?
Uniting Visionaries at the Forefront of Change
“You’re hosting a dinner party and you can request the company of anyone. Who do you invite to the table?”
It is a simple question designed to reveal our collective values.
Our answer to it became reality in our 2022 event, In Community with Food, where we brought together a collective of community leaders, storytellers, impact investors, educators and more for three days of conversation, connection, inspiration, and incredible food. Deep human relationships were formed, projects were seeded, uncomfortable topics arose and sought resolution, memories were born, inspiration sparked, and a transformative new endeavor began to flourish.
Leaving the summit, participants felt more creative, empathetic and inspired, ready to carry their personal experiences of transformation into every part of their lives. They returned home with enhanced communication skills and new perspectives to support innovation, deeper client relationships, heightened awareness of stakeholders’ needs, and a deep understanding of how to move towards a more equitable and sustainable way of doing business—and life.
This November, the Common Ground Summit, In Community with Place, will once again convene for three days on our beautiful campus on the North Shore of Kauai.
Common Ground Summit is a space where each of us can bring our whole self—all of the things that we care about, be they professional or personal—and allow that openness to guide our connections and conversations at the event.
This year, we will focus on deep connection to place, setting the stage for personal transformation and professional development through regenerative leadership. When we design gatherings in a place that embodies an interconnected, regenerative food cycle, our role in the greater natural system crystalizes.
The opportunity to acknowledge our individuality amongst the whole sets the stage to break down patterns of learned divisiveness, find common ground, and unify in our efforts to tackle the uniquely complicated problems of our time.
Most of all, we will co-create deep human connections to find our common ground.
In Community with Place is an invitation to ground this vision—in community, in conversation, in action, and of course in commensality.
