What to Pack
It’s a farm, please dress nice casual, but dress comfortably.
Footwear: remember, it’s a farm (no heels!). Much of the event takes place on lawns, which may be wet or possibly muddy.
○ If you plan to hike, know that trails can be muddy. Bring appropriate hiking
shoes.
Sunscreen, hats, sun shirts are all great
A reusable water bottle to stay hydrated
Shorts and bathing suit for your explore time.
Biodegradable / reef safe skincare products. Our island ecosystem is delicate. We appreciate your effort to leave harmful chemicals at home.
What to Expect:
Weather: The North Shore of Kaua’i often receives the most annual rainfall on earth. While the weather is set to be extremely pleasant, please be prepared for rain at a moment's notice. We are expecting highs around 80 and lows around 68. You may want a light layer for night activity.
Food and Drinks: Local, seasonal meals prepared by our amazing team of chefs will be provided. See the schedule on the website for meal times. If you haven't already, please let us know about any food allergies, otherwise we might not be able to accommodate special requests!
○ Each night food and drinks begin with a happy-hour, or “Pau Hana” with alcoholic
and non-alcoholic beverages.
○ Grab-and-go snacks and coffee will be available throughout the day.
○ Water refill stations will be available throughout the property, so please bring
your own refillable water bottles. Water glasses will also be provided.
Come prepared for the full days. We have content from breakfast through the evening and we suggest bringing whatever you need for the full day to avoid an unnecessary trip back to your accommodations.
We have showers and a changing room available on-site! If you want to run to the beach mid-day or get ready for dinner without having to head home for a reset, visit our showers in the rear of campus near the yurts!
On Thursday morning we are offering two different guided Explore offsite options. There will be time to stop home and reset before lunch. Please aim to be back on campus by 1:30pm at the latest:
Head over to our Activity Registration Form to learn more and reserve your spot!
Other Activities: The North Shore of Kaua’i is one of the most beautiful places on our planet and provides endless opportunities for recreation and exploration. If you plan on some adventures please pack accordingly! Visit our Explore Page for tips and suggestions.
